The menu drop-down labeled Work Space is your dedicated build and testing area. This is where you can create, experiment, and refine your website pages without interfering with the structure or flow of your main pages such as Home, About Us, Services, and FAQ.

For now, those main pages are simply placeholders displaying the header, menu, and footer, allowing you to focus entirely on building and testing your content inside the Workspace first.

As you begin building, you can replace this page with your own homepage and start populating the other pages shown in the menu.

Above is the header; beneath the header is the menu, and at the very bottom of the web page is the footer. Edit the Header by going to Customize → Widgets → Masthead → Layout Builder → Open Builder → then open and edit the content of the individual widgets using the Code or Visual tabs. The path to edit the footer is the same, replacing Masthead with Footer.

To edit the menu, go to Customize → Theme Design → Menu. To edit the page background color, go to Customize → Theme Design → Page. To create a new page, follow the instructions from the Practice Guide, page 2, Beyond the Basics.
